It's finally your turn to send out those save-the-dates and wedding invitations, but you want something that will stand out amongst the sea of invites on your friends' refrigerators. How do you make it fun and unique without being cheesy or over-the-top? We asked one of our fabulous graphic designers Grace Toulotte to help us out with some wedding stationary best practices. Here's what she says and some examples of her favorites!
- Even if you're on a budget, good design does not have to cost an arm and a leg. There are many cost-effective solutions to make your wedding papery as special as your wedding itself.
- In terms of theme for wedding papery, it doesn't have to be all hearts and flowers. Pick a symbol that is special to you and your partner, whether it's an inside joke you share, a representation of the city where you live, a memory of a favorite vacation together...whatever is special to you! A symbol adds some sentimentality to your wedding paper suite.
- Hand drawn wedding papery is really trendy right now, and there are a million examples all over Pinterest, etc. I chose a couple of my favorites.
If the idea of a custom wedding paper suite piques your interest, contact Grace. With an eye for unique design and an affordable price tag, Grace makes the perfect partner for wedding papery!
